Credentialing Guidelines CCSNH - Review first before proceeding.
Early College instructors must be credentialed to teach Early College Courses at their high school. The process is straightforward and the application is easy but before you begin, gather the materials and information you will need:
Determine your college partner. High schools normally work with the community college closest to them geographically. There may be instances where the high school needs to partner with a different community college because the class they want to offer isn’t offered at the community college closest to their location. High schools should always work with their ‘home’ community college to find the right alignment for their class. See High School Service Areas
Identify the college course you would like to teach. | Example: ENGL 110G College Composition I Note: If this is a new course offering, the school needs to submit a New Course Approval form.
Gather & Share Materials. Create a shared folder with Google Drive; Microsoft 365 or Dropbox and add the following:
Copy of Resume
Copy of Unofficial College Transcripts
Letter of Interest
If you have any questions or need assistance, contact your Early College Coordinator at the community college closest to your high school.
