The acceptance of college credit is always at the discretion of the receiving college or university. CCSNH course credit has broad transferability with public colleges and universities within the US. A student may find that their college course doesn’t align with their intended program of study at their college or university. In that case, the course may transfer in a elective credit.
Students with IEP or 504 plans who are interested in receiving learning accommodations in their college class should contact the Office of Accessibility Services at the college sponsoring the Early College at the High School course. Students will be asked to submit appropriate documentation. After reviewing the documentation, the Accessibility Services Coordinator will work with the student to develop a Reasonable Accommodation Plan. For best results, contact should be made early in the semester or, if possible, before classes begin.
Early College at the High School college courses are college courses sponsored by one of the CCSNH colleges. Once a student completes the class, an academic record is created for the student at the sponsoring college. Students can request their college transcript and transfer the class credit to the college or university of their choice. AP courses are only granted college credit if a student achieves a certain score on the AP exam.
The college does not mail grades to students. Students will need to obtain and activate their CCSNH student account in order to gain access to the Student Information System at the college sponsoring their college course. Alternatively, students can order official transcripts from the National Student Clearinghouse.
Students can withdraw/drop a course via the Student Information System (SIS). Students may also contact the college Registrar’s Office and comply with the withdraw/drop policy of the college offering the course.
Not participating in the course is not an automatic withdrawal/drop.
Abandoning your registration in DualEnroll does not drop you from the course.
