Community College System of NH
The Early College program enables high school students to take community college courses for high school AND college credit, allowing them to save time and money. Students can work towards an associate degree while still in high school or receive workforce credentials to accelerate their careers.
These are college courses taught at high schools by teachers credentialed to teach college-level courses. Teachers are partnered with a community college faculty and use the college syllabus and course materials. These courses are taken as part of the daily high school class schedule.
Courses are tuition-free and subject to available funding through the Dual and Concurrent Enrollment Scholarship program, which will pay for up to two dual credit courses per year for students in 10th-12th grade. Certain fees not included, inquire with college. Students may take more than 2 courses per year at a discounted rate through the Early College program.
Acceptance of credits is at the discretion of the receiving institution.
